This year has been batshit crazy but there were a few good things at least

Agreed, lots of bad, lots of gloom, lots of worry for so many people, not to mention hardship, loss and mental health issues. For me it's been a bit stressful, tiring but mostly I know I am very lucky as things are moving in the right direction now for me..
