I Have Worked In The Hells Of Customer Service

Just a rant. I'm a volunteer at a charity shop and the amount of rude customers we get is ridiculous. One guy told me how incompetent I was because I couldn't give him a bag for free which only costs £0.10p. 5p for the smaller bags. People will come in looking to bargain and then get all rude when we say we can't cut the (cheap) prices, all the while we're a charity shop trying to raise money for the sick and terminally ill. Go away.

Yeah its not personal. And thats what they dont understand. You're just doing your job. A £0.10p bag aint worth losing your job.

I've spent many years in this sector,and grown a thick skin.They don't,99% of the time,actually aim there bike at you personally,so the sooner you shrug it off,the easier it gets..bloody arseholes!

@asdfghjkl well I won't"heart"that!.. my bestie went to uni,and spent and spent and spent!.. he had to almagamate all his debts several times over,and had to add some still onto his mortgage,when he bought his first home..Scary

hahahha! seems Stressful.. This is what I've found out. The lower the pay of job you work for will be.
The shitter the job will be, the less respect you get, more stress you get.

I think you can use a D, during the break to take some stress off you. If you have a nice bod? Im a ppl person, so I might be able to help yah.😃

Tell those idiots its a state law. (in the states) we have laws about plastic bags. Or tell the guy he can get a nice bag for a price. That he can reuse again

I shop at a charity shop and i bring my own bags for the stuff i buy. Or I find a nice bag in the store,but it,then stuff the other items in bought in it

@asdfghjkl I keep them in the car,just in case. If i'm with some one shopping. i go out to the car and get the bags. Some times the bags you buy are cool. I agree that it's out of your control. Maybe you should put a sign up "we charge for bags"

@ImIndian British pence. There are 10p, 5p, 50p, 20p, 1p and 2p pennies. Then there's also British pound sterling, so like £1, £20...etc. 100p is 1 pound.
