I Hate Airports

I enjoy travel and experiencing new locales. One part of travel that I despise however is having to pass airport security. You have to get there hours earlier in order to wait in line and be searched like a criminal, take off your boots and shoes, accessories, and dangling jewelry. They make you take off your coats and thick loose cardigans and so on. You ar me told what you can and cannot bring with you even food items and common things such as amount of toothpaste. It's demeaning and degrading. If transport security agents even sense the slightest bit of an attitude from you at this nonsense they can make your security check miserable out of spite. As soon as you go through security your rights are gone. They can strip search someone and if the traveler does not comply you can be arrested on the spot as a threat to national security. Airports are cold and dirty. Also in America particularly, like everywhere else in public, there are too many people dressed like slobs. Even if you are going on an overnight flight, don't wear pajamas and sweatsuits ( trackies) in public. You are not in your house, you are in a public place! There are many clothing options that allow you to be comfortable but still appropriate and presentable to wear in public. Another thing unless someone is in first class on the plane, why does everyone else have to packed like sardines? Why can't air travel be more equalized for all travelers and why In the last several decades has it become increasingly expensive? Traveling once you have arrived at your destination is an experience that could change your life. It's getting through the airport that comprises of it being a pain in the ass.,
