How would everyone like a book club? We don't have to read the same book to discuses it. All we have to do is be lovers of books and reading and you tell us about the book or books you read, what you like, don't like, etc. Please let me know what you think?

with about 40 pages to go.

Wow! That is great. I would enjoy hearing about WeaverWorld. What what is about? Did you enjoy it?

Weaveworld came out in 1987 and I had the fortune to buy it when it came out. I had forgotten so much. Clive Barker is a pretty deep writer even though he is a master of the horror tale.

Ohhh, horror? I love horror movies, one of my favorites is Stephen King. I like "Carrie" the best it was really creepy. I have seen different versions of it even one made on tv with David Keith but to me Sissy Specek was the Best Carrie yet. I think I have saw every remake of Carrie they have made.

I saw that in the 70s and also the second version. Both were shockers!
My personal favorite from King was Misery and The Dead Zone. He has made some incredible classics!

yes, Misery was a really well written movie right to the end. I like Kathy Bate's it was a good movie. I have never seen DeadZone. I will look that up and watch it. Shinning was maddening too. The lady who played his wife had her hair fall out from being so stressed playing in the movie.

I remember watching The Shining when it first came out in 1980.
It was highly anticipated.
It took me 35 years to finish The Dead Zone which actually matches up to the plot nicely! 🤭

Oh, lol I can't wait to read your new book. I bet it will be great and very interesting. I remember getting the crap scared out of me watching The Shinning I even had the book from what I remember was a lot scarier than the movie. It was thick too. I thought I'd never finish it. I will say good night, time for me to go on to bed. Maybe will talk again soon.
Good Night and thank you for a lovely chat.
