I Always Feel Like I Bother People

Well, say, I'm trying to throw out a dead carpet sweeper and as I'm rolling it to the dumpster I get in the way of somebody trying to drive out of the lot and get to work. They weren't there when I started rolling but they are now and the .8 seconds it takes for me to get out of the way is KILLING them.

When I get to the dumpster a guy is walking away from it but he sees what I'm doing and comes back to hold open the lid for me but he looks annoyed, like delaying him was my plan all along when I didn't say anything to him about helping.

Then the apartment complex manager comes up and asks what that noise was when the sweeper fell into the dumpster (oops! caught me! I'm disposing of a body). When I ask if I'm not supposed to throw out a vacuum in the dumpster she looks bothered but says, No, that's why it's there.

And I'm bothered then because why did she make a point of asking?

FOUR bothers in one two-minute trip to the dumpster. The three of them and me.
