I am stuck and alone!

@SW-User yeah still stuck here in foreign country but in a better circumstance! I moved from the share house to my own apartment and slowly making and hanging out with good human beings. When hostels shut back in april we all had to go into share houses and quarantine and people i shared with were freaking shit. I am doing well thank you for asking but still cant go home yet. Also back home covid is out of control so in way staying here is better...Its been 13 months since i left home for 1 year backpacking.

@LeaDhelani I'm sorry you're stuck like this. I have shared before with strange people and i know how horrible some can be, but it'd be much worse for a female. Glad you have your own apartment now though. You probably aren't eligible for any covid support money either i guess? Hope you're surviving ok. But yes if there's no covid where you are then that's more survivable than going home to it.

@SW-User Yeah, money is not problem ,my parents are taking care of everything😊 I could have gone home back in june but decided to stay as honestly thought it will be over by now.My country is on their second wave now 😔

@SW-User Sharing a house sucks. Never again..hostels are ok..Now having my own apartment feels really good..Slowly making friends too..

@LeaDhelani I only moved this gone friday...It was hard to find affordable place as well on my own but yesss i am now safe and sound😁

@LeaDhelani That's great to hear. Hopefully you don't have visa issues either. Do you think you'll go home when you are able to or will you keep your apartment and try and find a job?
Finding affordable rental accommodation where i live is really hard if you don't share.

@SW-User Visa is no problem. Well...i do miss my family but we video chat everyday on WhatsApp. Ive been asking around and going to try and get a student visa to stay longer. I havent seen anything or done anything i came to do. In my country covid rules are strict now more than ever. Here where i am is pretty good. No new cases in the city i am in for few weeks now.. almost everything is open...Went out clubbing saturday lol...so is pretty good...

@LeaDhelani Yes anywhere you can go out on a saturday night and meet people is a good place to live :)
