I Am Frustrated With Society

So many things in society are broken. People get this idea in their heads that just because most people think that something is true/good/whatever, that that automatically means that it must be true. But societies are inherently homogeneous - the vast majority of people (ie: sheeple) will automatically fall into line with whatever standards they see around them, and pass those standards on to their kids, regardless of whether those standards make any sense or not. But the psychology of large groups is so inherently skewed and broken that many, many selfish, ridiculous and destructive factors will inevitably contribute to the shape that society takes. Hitler and slavery are extreme examples, but they paint a clear picture of just how far off course the standard, accepted practices and viewpoints of society can become, and how little we can trust that something is good just because most people agree that it's good.
