I Am Frustrated With Society
A week ago I wrote a post about the incoming elections in my country. I got really disappointed with the results. The same party that brought us huge unemployment and deep financial trouble twice in the past (and which is likely to bring other kinds of trouble in the future) was massively voted again.
In the last months before elections they raised pensions, minimum wage, also public workers salary, to a larger extent than the country can afford, thus cresting more debt that will have to be paid, and paving the way for future tax rises and cutbacks
However, most people do not care. They just think of the here and now. They have a selfish, childish mentality that only allows them to think of the short term and themselves.
How is it possible to build something that remotely resembles a community or a country with those people?
