I Am Frustrated With Society

Oh hello PlumBerries! I'm glad to see someone of the few who can relate to this social epidemic. Yes, the damn rat race. Everyone racing to have bigger houses, bigger and better cars with more options, bigger hamburgers, bigger whatever. It's all a sign that everybody is living in a big jail: the jail of their ego. Status, status,.. all that matters is status.

Yes, then there's politics, the silly politics that don't really matter. Even Einstein said it: "politics are fluent, math is forever". The most intelligent guy at my university was my best friend and he said: "My friend, politics is an illusion of choice for the gullible. The only thing they are maintaining is making sure that they perpetually keep their status and that the general public stays dumbed down".

As well for the stupid getting offended problem nowadays; everyone gets easily offended if you try to judge [i]anything[/i], just [i]anything[/i]. People used to be real and we would have deep conversations with them and then we would agree or disagree, but we sure as hell wouldn't attack the other person midway in their first sentence, calling them a racist or sexist just because they said some word that triggered them. Everything is so politically correct and crap.

I had a stupid fucknut friend whom I broke friendship with because he spends his life on Facebook and says no normal person can live without Facebook and that it's the holy grail and basis for friendships and whatever stupid shit he said.. it's fucking stupid. He's just an example of the many sheep that drone away in this society, chasing each other's asses. Sorry for my crude writing - usually I'm more eloquent but I'm just mad right now.

I understand completely. I stay offline whenever there is a big news day because everyone is angry at every little thing. I do not know how they can live like that.

It’s designed that way so the masses don’t join up and overthrow the real problem. Government.

I think the media is the most at fault. It gets people riled up and it boosts ratings for media people from both sides. That and it keeps people so busy going at each other they do not think about the shit the politicians are doing to the citizens. I think a lot is planned distractions by the governments.

Agreed & it just seems to be continually spiraling downwards.
