I Know I Am Not Perfect
who is perfect ? can anybody define perfect to me ? and would all the definitions match ? i dont think so . i know i am not perfect . no one is . because there exists no such thing . i know this because i used to chase after perfection . not knowing what it is, but i was desperate .
i was an awkward kid right from when as far as my memories go back. i had very few friends..and since my father serves in the NAVY , we used to shift our residence a lot . i had trouble making new friends . heck i was so ashamed of myself that i didnt even tell my parents about this .
but now i know , a person uses the word "perfect" just to collectively put forth his likes and dislikes. for a person a perfect friend would be the one who agrees to whatever he says ...for someone else it would be a person who cares about him/her...
Now how did i change ? i didnt ...i just let it all out ..whatever i had in mind to do..without thinking about other people's views and comments...the key point i showed a lot of ' Confidence ' while doing something. ..now when you're super confident , hardly anyone doubts you..specially teenagers who are in a learning stage..they feel they dont know something , something that you do... and then they lack the confidence required to criticize you...And when you stop getting Criticized people automatically start liking you, idolizing you , saying you are Perfect ...
no body gets in my way now ..im free :)
that peer pressure is off me and the only critics i listen to are my mentors or my teachers ..:)
Ignoring people is not always the answer ..sometimes you have got to work them . because I believe that every one is capable of changing the world in some or the other way ..millions of ideas crossing millions of minds on this planet..you just need to find yourself among those ideas and accept who you are :D
