I Am a Sister

I am the oldest of four, three girls and a little bro. My next sis down is my best friend. We live about 400 metres from each other and we see each other a couple of times a week. I'm incredibly lucky and I realise that.

I think also there is, in some way, a greater sisterhood in that we females are, in some sense, sisters in the big wide world. Sometimes when I see situations where I could help, I feel like shying away from them. Reminding myself about the greater sisterhood makes me do what I know I should do.

I know of course it's not perfect for everyone but I'm just saying how it is for me
