Domestic discipline Spanking [I Still Get Spanked]

People won't open their minds to things that scare them, and this lifestyle scares them. It "sets women back" and they are scared of that. So they try to call it abusive, demeaning and everything else in an effort to steer women away from it But those of us who live it, we know the truth. So let them write their articles... because at the end of the day, it doesn't change the truth. In fact, it helps our community in many ways. It will make people ask more questions and wonder what this is exactly. While it might be off putting to some, for others, it will draw curiosity and open a door.

I learned relatively late in life that discipline enhances a relationship in both directions. I wish I knew about it earlier. I live alone so I maybe it’s not truly domestic discipline, same principle though.

@SW-User Your approach, especially your willingness to help others, seems best to me.

Those you help can come to understand that you yourself have been in the very same position and have benefited from the sort of discipline they are receiving.

The cliche about it being more blessed to give than to receive has a grain of truth in it. It clearly is much more difficult to adjust giving. Receiving is easier, albeit sometimes more painful on one level.

@SW-User Finding the Goldilocks zone is very difficult.

Too hard and/or too emotionally intense are unsatisfactory. Both risk a safeword exit but even more unsuccessful is a scenario that is too soft and fails its primary mission. Explicit advice from recipients could help for a future occasion but the very giving of the advice ruins the current visit. So, giving/providing is challenging.

@StrictMomOne You are right about the guilt removal effects of a good spanking. It can work too well. Maybe for some actions we should continue to feel guilty. The same could be true for children.

Shouldn't a child continue to feel guilty and bad about say crossing the street carelessly and doing so in direct defiance of orders to wait?

I very much agree with your post, and you certainly have my support. It's a pity more people don't share your view. I can never understand why so many people seem to think their dismal opinions on other people's beliefs and how they choose to live their lives are of any importance or relevance. I think discipline is very important in the home, is necessary for women and of benefit to them, and is a good thing for the individual and for society as a whole.

@Alfred22 Thanks. She didn’t like how I stacked the dishwasher, I didn’t like where she left her underwear - both were essentially trivial so it seemed silly to say anything. Until one day…. After a few screams and tears we started new rules. Now if she lapses I tie her up with her own dirty bra while I smack her butt, and if I put the bowls in backwards I might get 20 whacks with the big wooden spoon. Either way we somehow usually end up naked, and I admit I get it wrong on purpose sometimes.
