I Am Southern and Proud of It

Bit of good news for us southerners. Battlefields and the monuments have been declared by national park service untouchable by these criminals removing civil war statues. My town is thrilled our battlefield which was the first established in 1890 to remember both union and confederate soldiers will stay.

I'm a Texan and I'm not proud of my ancestors being traitors. The statues should come down except at battlefields and cemeteries.

@tindrummer They weren't traitors. There was no legal reason that the South couldn't secede. They joined the Union freely and had the right to leave it. By your definition all the signers of the Declaration of Independence were traitors and should have been hung.

@tindrummer because the men that fought at the Alamo were also traitors to Mexico. Want to point out we lost OK take everything built or set to remember Mexico or Spain in any us state cause they lost.

do you want to pay $5 for an orange? Citizens won't do the backbreaking work in the fields that the undocumented do: so yes I do want to let them in for our sake and theirs
