I Love Well Fitted Suits
Like a prior poster, I advocate that there is no satisfaction that equals wearing a well-fitted suit. This applies equally to public, business and social settings.
While some occupations require or encourage wearing suits, there is a real pleasure and increase in confidence from dressing well. Recently i was called to jury duty and was the only one wearing a suit (although one other gentleman wore a sport jacket and tie). it was interesting how much more deference I received from court personnel and the other panel members.
I have to concur in the advice to younger men to try to have at least one conservatively tailored suit custom-made for you. It will be worth the expenditure in comfort, wear and satisfaction.
