Seriously debating on which should be my pack weapon for the when the worst happens; my breakdown .22lr or my Mossberg cruiser .410 versatility or lightest weight
@Svarog People who prep for disaster rarely have one exact scenario in mind. They have merely speculated that it is very unusual to live through 5-7 decades in any society or country at any time in history and not encounter a serious emergency, whether a storm, tornado, tidal wave, earthquake, fire, riots, power outage or major warfare. Over a lifetime, at least one of these situations is likely to unfold sometime in one's life. Might as well be prepared. It might not save you...but then again, it might.
if you want a frank answer … matters nothing when force approaches force.
two (or even one) against one will yank all the fortitude remaining in your vault. once they've dealt with your ammo … they will go for any females living with you. next, anything of value in your possession. finally, once they are satisfied you got nothing left to offer … the velocity in one of the projectiles from your [c=#800000]mossberg[/c] will open a canyon inside your head.
you have a lot of canned food stocked up and jugs of water and other non perishable food, and regular pop with sugar not the sugar free stuff since the sugar acts as a anti freeze and will keep it liquid below freezing. sams club is nice place for the canned food as it comes in boxes of six or 8 cans and you can write the expire dates on the boxes and stack them on the shelves where you can see the dates and the boxes keep the dust and the mouse in the house off the cans.
