I Am Going to Prom

And I Can't Wait!

It's coming up pretty quick. We're not going all fancy like a lot of couples. No limo here, just two girls holding hands driving quietly together to a night of being in each other's arms swaying to the music. Most people in our school have no idea that we are a couple or that we're even into girls. But it's not that we hid anything; just never had an occasion to blurt it out. So this will be kinda a joint coming out party too! Lol, I'll let you know how it goes. :)

@DreamingOfSummer Well it was this past Friday and it was amazing. Like I said, I wasn't even planning to go. Didn't go last year either. This whole thing was kinda last minute. But I think we danced almost ever song.

Yes, we got dresses ... not sure either qualified as a "gown" though. We both wanted something we could keep in the wardrobe, ya know? She looked so amazing. 😍

A few people have asked me how the dinner was (mom, etc), and to be honest, idk. I know I ate, but I have no idea if it was even good. Like I just wasn't focused on food at all.

A lot of people were kinda freaked that we showed up together like we did. Of course, everyone needs to have you neatly in a "box" and stamp a label on your forehead. Well, I'm not ready for the scarlet "L" on my forehead yet, but I had an awesome time with an amazing girl. :)

Afterwards we did make a brief appearance at two parties and then just came back to my house to chill before she had to be home.
