Very nice. I too like minimalists even though I try to be it doesn't always work out for me. Only because I don't like parting with things that I really enjoy having...like my collection of butterfly stuff. I have lots of different butterfly stuff, but if I tried to minimize then I would have to get rid of some, and I just cant.
Have you watched the documentary on Netflix called The Minimalist. Have you ever heard of FlyLady, its a website that shows different ways to de-clutter your life. Its actually quite interesting and helpful too.
A friend of mine told me about it and she is a minimalist. One thing she told me that I always keep in mind on how to spend money wisely is with three simple rules.

@MamaButterfly I did't see the documentary. I will check it. I tell that to myself also before I buy things :). To be honest I have no much money so I don't really get to ask this question much lol
But I have a dilema :For 2 years I have no television. I just don't think I need it. It distract me and the kids can watch films on computer. Still, some people told me is actually selfish of me. That there are some games and stuff you can do with TV. That kids should have TV. One friend wanted to give me one for free. I don't know.. I like it without and I am not sure..

I hear ya there, I have a tv but I was without cable television for a long time. My choice because I didn't see the point in paying that extra bill if I am not even home enough to watch it. Besides cable television nowadays is all crap shows. Stupid reality shows like Kardashians for example...ugh!
I enjoyed not having cable too, because it really is a distraction, because instead of watching television we could spend our time more enjoyable like spending it with family, and kids. Another reason I didn't want cable was also because I had the internet and everything that is usually on cable television can also be found on the internet. Though I have cable now because I live with my ex-mother-in-law and she wants cable. I hardly ever watch it anyway. Most of the time I would rather be doing something worthwhile than sitting on the couch all day, glued to the television. Some people do that, and that just goes to show how tv can affect can have an impact on how ya live.

I was moving around a bit at the time, house-sitting so I had free furnished accommodation and I worked as well. I did acquire a few books coz I love books. I lead a bit more of a settled life and have got married. I still sometimes miss the "driving off into the sunset/on to next job"!!!! ☺ @Ninive
Minimalism is a nice thing, its hard to practise, but if you learn to believe it and do it ever so often, you realise you have a lot more money at the end of the month than if you spent more on a daily basis.
