I Appreciate Kindness

Someone on my team touched my heart this morning.

I responded to an email she sent, telling her to follow-up with another supervisor on something because I would be out all of March. She instant messaged me asking if I had a minute- she does this a lot, no big deal.

Let me preface by saying she can be a little needy, so I cleared some time and told her to come see me. She ends up just wanting to check on me, since I check on her and the rest of my team all the time, and since I said I was going to be out. I feel like I'm constantly depleting myself for others and she turned that around with one gesture. 😌
