I Want To Say This To My Dad

I love my Dad, I really do, he treasures me so much and I know how much he just wants me to be happy.
But he's starting to become overly protective of me.

I think he just misses the times where the two of us got to play and spend so much time together, being his little Princess, or in Italian "Principessa", but I've grown up!

I'll be eighteen in half a year and he still treats me like I'm a child, saying I can't attend certain events and really being a bit judgemental about the people I like to spend time with!
I love you, Dad, but I don't think you have to watch my back every free minute!
