I Dont Even Know What To Do
I was a transferee last year and I met this girl who eventually beacame my closest friend. We were both potatoes and introverts, but at the middle of second semester she left without notice. The signs are quite obvious anyway. She didn't attend class at times and didn't go to school until she totally ended up communicating with me. I'm always encouraging her eversince and making extra effort, because I want her and I, to be both excellent in our fields. She didn't contact me for long 4 months but I still leave messages and missed calls.
One day she replied and told me that she want to go to college again. I was so happy. Even when I'm done with my clearances, school works and enrollments I manage to help her with all the works she left. I always message her to encoyrage her and even talk to her classmates to motivate her to attend classes. But as time goes by, she's always absent again.
One day a guy asked out to eat. He texta me, chat me and even call. For me, this guy is just being friendly. I never went out with him though, I refuse everytime he's asking me for hangouts. One of my guy friend told me that, that guy might like me. They(the guys and my guy friend) were friends though. And my guy friend told to just ignore all the messages and invitations. So I did, since I'm not romantically attracted to that guy. He told me thay he will buy luch for us but I refuse. I also didn't reply to his messages especially when it is flirty messages. I believe we can be good friends soon.
The day after this guy stopped texting me, I was a bit surprised and happy that my friend is present. Later on I knew that this guy asked my friend to hangout today. I told her if she's sure if she want to go out with that guy. She asked me to come with her but I have classes that time. I thought she will refuse but she went out with that guy. They became close and the guy told her that day that he wants to court her. Since that day my friend is always attending school. But lately they're having problems and they were both absent again. I don'y know anymore what to do to encourage them. At some point I feel like all my efforts were wasted.
