I Thank All Veterans For Their Service And Sacrifices

Our country uses its veterans up, and then shits all over them and throws them to the wolves. Of course we do - why would anyone expect anything different? Large groups (like nations) are always going to be unethical and self-serving - so it's inevitable that when someone is no longer useful to a group, that group will cast them off. It's human nature - it's the oldest story in the world. I hate most if not all of the wars we've fought in since Korea (which I have mixed feelings about) - I think that our country has been downright evil at times. But if a soldier risks their life in order to give service to a cause greater than themselves, then they deserve our honor and our respect, not our contempt just because we don't like the wars they fought in.
