I'm Saving Money

I always put away £50 a week into my savings and why? I like to have spare cash for when it really matters. Today my friend came around asking to borrow money. I wouldn't lend him any and to be honest I am not really comfortable lending money to friends and don't pin me as the bad guy but the guy has to learn how to budget his money. I know where he sinks his money and the majority of it is between his missus and him on takeaway food almost every night. Now if you take £20 per takeaway for 7 days a week. That's roughly £140 a week being wasted. I live on roughly £20 a week on food. Bread, cereal, meats, salad stuff, milk and you know the basic. [I practically live on tea and sandwiches most of the time]
