I Want to Be Smarter Than I Am

It is very important who we confide in, and allow into our lives, many are not what they seem, and it often times takes a great deal of time to actually figure out what kind of person they really are, but if you are very cautious, and protect your heart, trust your instincts & pray, this will keep you from a whole lot of pain.

I never understood guarding ones heart....I'm the type who lays it all out on the table when I first meet someone and if they accept me than we can be friends if they don't then I move on, I am used to being exploited and talked about and spread rumors about, and persecuted....none of that stuff bothers me, it's amazing to me knowing that a few people would stay after knowing all of that stuff, then I feel like I can always open up to them.
