1977 surprises me. The 1939 execution was on YouTube at one time. Don't know if it still is.

@eli1601 Yeah, the 1939 was the last one witnessed by the public. So, the 1977 one wouldn't be video taped. And by 1981, I think, France abolished the death penalty.
