I Enjoy Working Hard

This year, I was blessed to obtain 3 jobs! A nursing home where I have the privilege to give back to my community. I love helping & making friends with the residents there. It warms my heart to see them so happy every time I show up. My job is to just keep them company so, I came up with a few game programs that I host & we just have fun together. That’s on a Monday & Tuesday from 10-12. My second job is at the highway department & even though I’m the only woman on the site, I still love the job cause I get to go outside, get away from the house for a few hours. My job there is to go on the highway to pick up garbage but, I make it fun. Sometimes I work on the site itself, organizing the boxes they use for extra supplies. My shift for that is on Tuesday & Thursday from 1:30-3:30. My third job is on a farm near by where I get the pleasure to take care of the farm animals there such as goats, cows, chickens, etc along with pulling weeds & planting corn. I made a good friend who works next field to me who I can talk to while working even though, sometimes, I have to keep him in check, lol. This job is the longest of shifts but, that’s ok, I like it that way. It’s on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 7:30-3:00. I don’t see these at work, I see them as an opportunity to learn more & more, gain experience. Thanks for reading.
