I Have Done Absolutely No Work At Work Today
Well, maybe a little. The first half of my day I stay busy doing office work or whatever (I procrastinated a ton today) the last half I close as the cashier/receptionist for the service department at a car dealership.
I didn’t know where to put this, but I figured this group was fine. Anyway, I just encountered two people that struck me as odd (more so than the usual, but not in a crazy way). This very attractive woman walked in with her very tight dress and heels and was extremely smiley at the guys in parts while she had a second key made. When she came over to me she didn’t smile once, looked pissed, and miserable. I still tried to be nice as I don’t know what’s on her plate, but I wondered why she was like that toward me.
The second wasn’t odd as much as just funny. I’ve never seen an older guy get so embarrassed before. We have this window that I open when somebody comes up to pay (I keep it closed because I still try to do office work when I’m not busy at the counter) anyway he went to sign the receipt and because of the vacuum created from the window opening the wind blew it to me. He tried to grab it before it flew too far off and he accidentally grabbed my chest. He turned such a dark shade of red and signed quickly. Then he took off without saying another word. I didn’t find it to be a big deal, but it was funny how he reacted.
Usually my customers are pretty happy, and I don’t watch them very much. Just occasionally I see something funny I like to share.
