I Grew Up On a Farm

Lambing has got under way. The ewes are all in the shed now. It’s 24/7 now. And it’s busy. Last week the ewes were still out. But the young ewes often lamb early and I found three lambs. And bless them, they are inexperienced and don’t know what to do. The ewes I mean! It’s why one of my jobs is to walk round the fields and look out for premmies.
But they are all in now. And my main job is cooking for the others because they know I love cooking. But spag bol at 2 in the morning? And coll the next day! But I ain’t complaining. Well not much.
