My husband had promised my father I would finish college when we got married. When he found I had been skipping he was not pleased and by the time he finished my bottom felt it would melt the Antarctic!

Dads don't think skipping school is funny and some do take it serious for doing so . Mine tanned my butt as well for skipping a time or two in HS ( after a school paddling) as well as college . I got over skipping after a few of his long one on one talks with the belt or paddle .
