I stumbled across this photo of background miners getting ready to go down into the mine in 1900 . Hard to look at this picture and think that we have a hard job...
It's still a lot like that in many regions, where most of the people in the world live. Still, I haven't lived both so I don't pretend to know which age is worse, but I have to also observe that there's a lot that's inhuman about modern age as well.
