I Don't Give Up On My Friends Easily

But there comes a point where you have to let go. Similiar than in a romantic relationship that ended . Maybe a little more sad even. Friendship is a two way street. One person cannot put in the all effort. Check on the other's wellbeing , message , try to get together and build the friendship. I have pondered now for days and I have decided to give up. Some people is so self-absorbed that they dont give a hell about others. I am not putting in effort anymore. I will never back stab my friends and I WILL be there when they need me , but geez have a little respect and gratefulness.

That is sad because it looks like they will only come when they "need " you and you have so much more to offer. gratefulness in a relationship is so important and yet so easy to neglect. I hope your friends come around in their thinking.

That is a very good outlook. I guess we all have different views on what friendship means. I too give without expecting to much in return . I simply mean one cannot reach out and reach out forever. @Freefun74
