I Am Proud of Myself

I was driving home today and realized that this time last year I had just left an abusive marriage, was living in my parent's spare room and was feeling pretty much worthless. In just over a year I have moved into my own house, learned to drive again, started training for better employment opportunities, lost a lot of weight, massively improved my mental health and met someone amazing who makes me feel (although this is a cliche) like a queen, every single day.

I'm not in the habit of doing so, but I felt pretty proud of myself today : )
