I Hate My Parents

I am really tired of them taking my money from the college refund every tax season. Its annoying that the government makes me file with them because I am not yet 24. Most of my loans are only in my name though my mom is a cosigner on a few of them. But I am the one that has to make the monthly payments. They don't deserve my refund I need it :/

If you make enough money to support yourself then don’t let them claim you as a dependent, otherwise, if they are paying for your living then that money will makes its way back to you eventually, in its own way.

@Icantsoishant I can file the taxes from my job but not my college tax form. Because your loans are based on your parents income even if they don't help you financially.

I would check with an accountant on that. Yes you checked google but theirs nothing to say what is written on google or anywhere on the net it is true people can say what they want. Have you asked your mom if you can have the refund and just a foot note because your mom cosigned some of the loads well the loads you do not pay back she will have to.
