Fried Jalapenos

So I ordered fried jalapenos from the good Mexican place near me last night. I was thinking I'd be getting slices of jalapeno that were breaded and deep-fried, like most things here in America with "fried" in the title. Instead, I got three whole peppers that were sauteed in a pan, and served atop a bed of onions, and shoved in a takeout container.

It was still good, and qualifies as what I ordered - just wasn't what I was expecting. What things have you ordered that weren't quite what you expected when they arrived?

Well where I live we have drinks called Caesars, which is essentially Clamato juice with vodka. I guess it could qualify as the Canadian version of the Bloody Mary only instead of Tomato juice it uses Clamato juice. When i was in the States I asked for Ceasar and they brought me a Caesar Salad xD

@MrBlueGuy I can't imagine going to a place to order a drink, and getting a salad instead! That's a big difference!

@FaeLuna To be fair I just asked for a Caesar. I guess they thought I just wanted a Caesar salad to go along with my meal you think they would have asked me for a drink if they didn't think I ordered one though.
