I'm Not Human
What human could possibly ever begin to understand?
They can't, they never will.
Human body?... Sure, but inside?... Not even close.
They only see the outer shell of a human body, but can't comprehend anything else but a human soul residing within.
You fight against it your whole life, against believing that the reflection you see in the mirror is really you, but nothing could ever be further from the truth.
They always seem to think that "hell" is some place filled with fire, demons, and brimstone inside the earth, but it's not always so.
For some like myself, hell is your own existence, trapped in a body that's not yours, in a place you don't know, that's not your own, unable to ever get out, unable to escape this.
Held against your own will, beyond your own choice.
Will I die?... I don't know.
Maybe "death" only exists for humans, with human bodies, and human minds, maybe that trifecta of the same creates the end, but what of us?
Do we live on?, or do we die like them?
They can't, they never will.
