I Am Getting In Shape

@happymax Well, my mum is an advocate of fitness and she told me to get into running, which I hate, and the other thing is the ‘Insanity’ DVD Workout System....

I’ve been doing that, like, the last 5 years or so. Hate it, but boy does it get results!

@MartikaDuponte1 I love swimming much more than I love running 😁 haha So I do a lot of swimming...

@happymax Ah! I’ve not swam for absolute ages! I do the old ‘bob around in the water whilst guiding my daughters as they swim’ kinda deal. Not quite swimming....

....i’m there to make them look good! Lol!

How far do you swim? How many lengths?

@MartikaDuponte1 Haha 😊 I swim about 30 lengths... Sometimes its about 20 if I'm short on time.

@happymax Cool! I used to do about 64 lengths, which is around a mile, back when I was on it.....

....but that’s quite a while ago.....

@MartikaDuponte1 Wow!!!!! 😳 That is a lot of swimming!!! Did you do it for the exercise or were you competing as part of a team?

@happymax Thank you. That was daily and, BC as I call it - Before Children! Lol!

No, I just used to do it during the day just to keep me from being bored.....as, obviously, I worked at night....

Were you with your hubby back then? Or did you meet him later on?? He's so awesome from all that I have read over the years...

@happymax Well......firstly, I met Mark earlier than that because he was my mum’s boyfriend. I was, like, 13 or 14 at the time.....

We got together when I was around 17-18, after a long time trying to put him off.....but he relented! Lol!

I succumbed to his sexy ways!

Yeah, I think he’s pretty awesome too! Giving me the freedom, and support, to truly be myself....
