I Think People Don't Like Me

People just don't like me. Never have. I had very few friends growing up. Have no friends now. I was painfully shy and I know that had a lot to do with it. But even now when I try to talk to people it just doesn't seem to work. I can be very negative at times, I know. But even when I'm consciously trying to be positive and upbeat, I still can't get anyone to talk to me or like me.
