I Never Thought That My Life Would Turn Out Like It Did

I never thought I would be right here, at this age. I thought I would be more together and stable. I thought I would be in a nice relationship....
Nothing could be farther from the truth.
But, I'm fine being alone with my kids and my dogs. I don't need anything, from anyone.
The only thing I want is someone who cares about me, like I care about him. Someone who see the beauty within me, and believes in me.

One day.
Until then, I'll be fine.

You may be luckier than most :)

Sounds like you can discriminate between what you need and really want vs what's just convenient.

That old saying about "if it feels good, do it" was so often misrepresented. To me it means go with what feels good in your heart ... and bypass what doesn't. Follow your heart and you will bump into others doing likewise.

Most of us take half a lifetime to start to figure that out :)

@Heartlander I'm very lucky. I have no complaints, I just talking out loud. Everything in due time, right?
Tonight I'm going to walk downtown with the dogs and look at the ocean. What's not to love about that?
