:-( I get occasional digestive screw ups where I get cramps and all that - horrid. I think it is some foods that don't go with my medication I've figured out some but not all

Im diabetic too, but lactose intolerance is the worse, i drink caffeine late at night always hard for me to sleep needless to say i dont control my lifestyle very well.
I am diabetic and have to stick to eating at the right times. Also i have problems with my insides so eating the right foods is a must or suffer for it

Just get a ton of pillows and blankets to prop yourself up, no need to fully lay down if you feel nausea everytime you overeat.

Just get a bed that is adjustable, that way you only ever have to lean back.
