Why do I stay when he consistently beats the heck outta me?
He could be having a bad day at work and literally comes home and smashes my face in. It gets really overwhelming and I want to leave but I'm scared what he'll do if I tried.

Update: I found out today that I'm pregnant . I've been really ill these past days and finally got around to visiting my doctor. I am here contemplating whether I should tell him but I'm afraid I will have to make a decision soon about leaving him.
I am outta my depths here because he mentioned earlier than he should take couple days off and drive up to his parents cabin which is at the other end of the state in a secluded area. He said he just wants to have some quiet time away but my mind is thinking something different.

@ExperienceDLT I was pregnant before and lost it when he kicked me in my stomach when I was 13 weeks along. He knew when he did it.
