Why do I stay when he consistently beats the heck outta me?
He could be having a bad day at work and literally comes home and smashes my face in. It gets really overwhelming and I want to leave but I'm scared what he'll do if I tried.

Wtf...I am angered and saddened.
I think you need to make a plan, get your banking ready, and get out when he is at work. Go initially to a battered women's shelter, get a restraining order, get a new plan for a new place.
Break all ties with him & his buddies, etc.
And LEARN FROM THIS.
You have inherent worth as a human being. You don't deserve this.
You need to file police reports and get his ass in jail or prison...
