This takes me back to my teen years. It makes me think of summer vacation, backyard bonfires and just not giving a rats ass about anything. It sucks to know just how much I took those times for granted. I wanted nothing more than to be done with school and to just start my adult life. I swore to myself that I would never want those days back though the older I get the more I yearn for them. I even find myself wishing to be back in highschool sometimes and that says a lot. Even some of the worst years I find some sort of fondness for them. I wish my only complaint was getting up early to go to school or to work on homework. That sounds trivial compared to paying bills, being responsible for a house, a car and all this other crap. Back then if the car needed work done I'd just tell my parents and they would take it to the dealership and they would take care of it for me. Now I'm the one having to take it to the dealership and having heart attacks over the repair bills.
