How to fix a bend charger ?

My husband bought a 10ft charger back in November at a flea market we went to it works good but the end of it is bend and won't stay in his phone very well. We keep trying to bend it back some more to fix it but it doesn't want to I try hard not to break it. Is there a way to fix it to where it'll stay in his phone ?
