I despise wireless headsets but mouse for laptop is o.k.

When it comes to having a wireless mouse on a desktop computer, doesn't work for me. Had one yeaaaars ago, and it never worked right. Have wired mouse and wired keyboard on desktop computer. Only wireless mouse I do have is for laptop, and it works perfectly, never had an issue with it. Wireless headphones is what I hate. Constantly having to recharge. Why I never owned one before. Wireless mouse just takes 1 AA battery.

Do you think that wireless devices would eventually become so mainstream that wired devices would stop being manufactured?

Sometimes I think this and panic buy, so when I go out to the electronics store I buy two wired mice, because when the one dies and suddenly no more wired mice exist, I'd have another mouse to go to. But then again, I haven't been hard on it either, so this one has lasted me for quite a while now.
I don't think there's much difference between wireless mouse for desktop and laptop. My first wireless mouse was garbage too. Heavy as a brick and broke easily. Now I can't live without one

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I just see with the wired stuff, that I'm always connected, no battery to worry about. Especially if I'm in the middle of a game, mouse battery dies, but those batteries do last a very long time if you don't leave the mouse turned on when not in use.

Wireless headsets are so amazing and they've come such a long way in the past 6 or 7 years you will never go back if you get a wireless headset.
I used to kind of think like you but I had a lot of bad experiences with Bluetooth headsets and things like that now I found a great one and even though I still like having the option of a wire I never use my wire anymore hardly.
