Will i lose money if i make a new Apple ID ?

I just got a new itunes card I had to log out of itunes because it wouldn't connect to the App Store so I thought logging out will help now I cant log back in. I dont know if it's my stupid satellite internet or what it's always let me log in before. If I make a new account will I lose that money ? What about my songs on my ipod will I lose those too ?
