My baby dad hit me. Almost beat me to death. Feel like I was about to die. I pressed charges. Need someone to talk to [I Ask]

This isn't the 1st time he hit me like a man. Like really hard. He punched me in the back while I was pregnant. He wouldn't get out my house because I didn't want to give him money. Like he has been to jail & still didn't learn his lesson. I am still so mad. He doesn't do anything for our daughter. Claiming IRS took his money. I filed a report like yesterday & he still not in jail. Do I have to go to court over this. I am so ready. If I would have called 911 at the scene I would have been dead so I went home & called 911 & told the police where he at. I feared for my life, This is the first time a man hit me.
