I Am Looking For a New Job

It's funny how we are told to apply, then call the job and ask for an interview. Yet when you do call and ask, they say "if, they are interested, they will call you"...

I never understood why people are told to hassle potential employers. I've done hiring before. It was so annoying to have to stop what I'm doing because of people calling to try to schedule an interview or check on their application.

@AcidBurn Well we on the other hand, we are told that it makes us look more diligent and shows that we really want the job. Not trying to hassle anyone, just trying to get out of retail😕

@iamnikki I get that. You also have to understand that hiring managers aren't sitting around to see who calls. I get that you want the job, that's why you applied...

@iamnikki I know. I'm not talking about you specifically. I'm referring to the people telling applicants to keep calling to "let them know you want the job."
