I Believe Some Things Exist Whether You Believe In Them Or Not

Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.

It's so rare fro me to prefer someone's company to solitude that when that happens it makes me believe that I am not completely detached from humanity and a little bit more normal.

@EuphoricTurtle I am sure you are not detached from humanity,...and what define normal anyway? :)

When you don't share the desires or the priorities of those around you, and in fact get called out for it, it's easy to feel disconnected. At some point you have to make a choice; to conform to what is perceived as normal behaviour or to find your own way. Kind of like Robert Frost.
