I Believe Some Things Exist Whether You Believe In Them Or Not

I have noticed that people born within an environment where a certain belief system is dominant. Their personality is more like those of a follower and they subconsciously accept as truth what they’re taught repeatedly in their early years. They don’t actively “choose” but they’re not forced into what they believe in, either.

This is why all the ancient texts advise to clear your mind. So we don't just go with the status quo as our thoughts create our reality and what we are taught may not be right.

@ShepherdBard It is called socialisation, and thats how groups and societies survive. It depends on a degree of "brainwashing" - good and bad.
