If you could honestly say the one thing...only one thing that is missing from your life what would it be? The one thing you used to have and now feels gone forever? The one thing that used to speak your soul?
@kodiac You have strength now. The innocence can never be regained. But you are turning into quiet a remarkable young man. This I know. Love to you, Kodia. xxxxx
Friends. I used to have friends but I got old and many of them have died. And some of them have moved far away. Since I have no family, I am alone in the world.
@SW-User It's not been that easy. I spent the last 3 years of my life trying to make friends in my new community and it has been disasterous for me; nothing has worked out well so far. I am planning to move somewhere else but need time to recover from my long term illness (I've been getting better slowly) and get a job so I can have the money to move. I hope to move into a senior care facility and maybe I can make a friend there.
@assemblingaknob inner peace comes from whatever story you need to feel peaceful...wether it be God, and his man Jesus, or Greek Gods, or the universe. We are human beings we create stories to make ourselves better about our life...We all believe if we believe in something.( because that's how we were raised) everything will be okay....but religion makes no room for reality....(;
@Ladyred Oop- no I just have really bad anxiety to the point that it's turning into paranoia. But you're right, religious beliefs do make me feel better, and yes it might be disconnected from this reality but at least it keeps me living. 🧘♀️ 🍀
@amun87 The mind is a complicated organism...what with all the electrical currents running through and keeping us alive....peace is an attitude I think. Like this..."No way takes my peace, even if I freak out once in awhile...no one takes my peace" ... There are as you know tools for such things...but at the end of the day no one was ever hurt by concentrating on what they are grateful for....(;
