I Was Caned At School

Mass caning for smoking. The teachers managed to round up a couple of dozen or so of us smokers once. I was in 5th form at the time and my older sister, who was also caught, was in 6th. There were also some 4th form girls.

We were all taken to the gym and given six of the best.

six of the cane was the standard punishment for smoking. In state schools it was mostly on the hands,,,far more effective as more force could be safely used if it was across the trousers. It was very rare state schools caned on just underpants and rarer still on the bare bottom. In private schools the revesre was true with most caning being on the bottom. It was commom here for it to be used just on underpants or boyys had to change into pe shorts with nothing on under them. While often denied it was also common for the cane to be used on the bare bottom. I think this application of the cane to the bottom in private schools rather than to hands in state schools made it a lot more effective

@chikki I respectfully disagree. Practices varied widely across the country and hand caning in state schools wasn't as common as you seem to think. My school caned us on our bottoms, as did most of the school my friends and acquaintance attended. Some caned boys on their bottoms and girls on their hands but even that practice wasn't all that widespread.
